Introduction
Documentation and usage guide for introduction.
Intent is an AI-powered desktop agent that translates natural language into autonomous system actions. By bridging your goals with your operating system's capabilities, Intent allows you to execute complex workflows without writing scripts.
Who is it for?
Intent is designed for professionals who want to automate repetitive desktop jobs, researchers managing multiple applications, developers testing UI, and anyone looking to boost productivity without spending hours building custom automation tools.
How it Works
At its core, Intent operates on an iterative feedback loop:
- Vision Capture: Takes a secure snapshot of your current screen.
- AI Inference: Sends the screenshot and your goal to a multimodal LLM (powered by Google Gemini).
- Code Generation: The LLM returns a tailored automation script for the immediate next step.
- Execution & Feedback: The code executes locally. If it fails, the error logs are fed back to the LLM for self-correction in the next iteration.
- Verification: Intent proactively verifies task completion visually before stopping.
If an element takes too long to load and an action fails, Intent automatically attempts a recovery.
Direct integration enables keyboard shortcuts, mouse movements, scrolling, and macro execution.
